The ultimate guide to picking your next pup family member

Updated: Jan 4, 2023

You are officially on the waitlist and the anxiety is building as you wait for the "It's time to meet your new family member!" message to reach your inbox. It feels like the longest wait ever but let me assure you, that when that time comes you will want to look back at this guide.

So let's break down the 3 most important things to consider when you are picking your new pup:

Markings

Research has shown that within the first 7 seconds of meeting someone, that person will form 11 impressions of you! This 7/11 rule applies to pups the same! Puppies tend to make you say ohhh and ahh easily, but your connection starts with what you see first, then temperament.

Temperament

Boston's tend to be friendly, lively, and intelligent right off the bat. But that doesn't mean their personalities are all the same, not for a long shot. Some will have more of one trait than the other. Some are shy, talkative, and/or need lots of attention.

Connection

Last but not least is connection, this is last on the list, but not because it's not important; instead because connection stems from all the above. Think about going on a date. You are on a date with that person because you were initially attracted to them, now you want to learn about them or their personality so you can build a connection or not.

At the end of the day you're going to take home the pup that you feel in your gut is right for you. Boston Terrier's are an incredible breed that just want you in their life. They will be loyal and eager to please you their whole lives. We can't wait for you to meet your future fur baby!

Tell us below what thing above you believe is the most important when picking your new pup!
